If you’re an interior designer (or an architecture lover!) always on the hunt for fresh ideas, these websites are like your daily dose of creativity. Whether you’re gathering concepts for a new client project, curating mood boards, or simply need to spark your imagination - these platforms will keep your design brain buzzing.

Of course, Pinterest is everyone’s go-to, but I personally also love browsing curated project archives and professional portfolios - they show how cohesive design concepts come together from start to finish.

So, here are my favorite design inspiration websites that every designer should have saved in their browser tabs 👇

1.

www.archilovers.com

Best for: Comprehensive global design project library

Archilovers hosts over 210,000 projects from all over the world - from residential interiors to large-scale architecture. You can filter by location, profession (interior designer, architect, engineer), or even specific designers to get inspired by their work.

Pro tip: Explore their Product section to search by category (like “sofas” or “lighting”). Each listing includes specs, product PDFs, and sometimes pricing - making it an excellent resource for sourcing ideas.

2.

www.yellowtrace.com.au

Best for: Editorial-style inspiration with strong storytelling

Yellowtrace is a design and architecture blog filled with thousands of creative projects. It’s organized by category (architecture or interiors) and written in a friendly, human tone - perfect when you want inspiration with perspective.

There’s also a “People” and “Products” section for discovering emerging designers and brands, though it’s more article-driven than product-based.

3.

www.dezeen.com

Best for: Design news, projects, and global industry updates

Dezeen is one of the most recognized online design magazines, attracting millions of readers each month. Beyond project inspiration, it’s also a hub for jobs, awards, and design courses.

You’ll find architecture, interiors, furniture, and product design - plus talks and video interviews that make great background listening while you work. Don’t miss their Events Guide for upcoming design weeks and exhibitions around the world.

4.

www.designhunter.co.uk

Best for: Minimalist visuals and curated modern design

Design Hunter stands out for its beautifully large images and minimal text - perfect when you just want to scroll through inspiring, calming visuals.

Their Sourcebook section includes curated furniture and product finds with product names, manufacturers, and pricing - ideal for quick referencing when specifying.

5.

www.designboom.com

Best for: Multidisciplinary design and product discovery

Designboom covers everything from architecture and interiors to art, technology, and product design. It’s one of the oldest and most respected online design platforms - and a little addictive once you start browsing!

You can even shop directly through their marketplace for design-forward decor and accessories.

6.

www.design-milk.com

Best for: Modern lifestyle + design crossover inspiration

Design Milk explores the intersection of design, architecture, and everyday living. From interiors and home furnishings to travel, pets, and fashion - it’s a playground for creative thinkers.

For designers, I recommend diving into the Commercial section where you’ll find completed projects and detailed product stories - it’s both inspirational and educational.

7.

www.archdaily.com

Best for: High-quality project imagery and BIM/product resources

ArchDaily is a powerhouse for designers looking to study how projects are presented. You can filter by typology, location, or use their image engine to find visuals for concept boards.

I also love their Product Catalog, which includes specs, materials, and even downloadable BIM objects - a huge plus for technical designers.

8.

www.officesnapshots.com

Best for: Commercial design inspiration and workplace trends

This site is a must for anyone designing offices or hospitality spaces. It’s packed with completed projects from global design firms - think Google offices, coworking hubs, and boutique studios.

I practically lived on this site during my corporate design years, and I still check it regularly to stay current with workspace design trends and new product launches.

Bonus Mentions

Other great sources include Houzz, Hunker, Interior Design Magazine, and Architectural Digest.
They’re more mainstream, but still wonderful for trend insights and client-friendly visuals.

Final Thoughts

Inspiration is everywhere - but the best designers know how to turn it into strategy. Browse these sites not just for pretty pictures, but to study why a concept works, how materials flow together, and how cohesive design stories are built from start to finish.
